Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Great idea and install. One question though, how in the hell do you get speaker wire into the door? I want to get power to new heated mirrors and someday maybe install some cool audio. The passemger side seems extremely difficult.

just push it though that little accordian tube. I found it easiest going for the inside of the door and pushing it into the car. giggle the wire from the door around until you see it inside then reach up and grab it.

yea, my pops has this nifty snake tool to get stuff that you drop down your sink drains or whatever. its like 3' long and has 3 "fingers" that retract. really handy when i was installing all the wires in my car

Cool, tried it out and did not even need the snake. I pulled back the little rubber boot and could touch my fingers on the other side. Power mirrors on both sides with heat for both mirrors to come when I find out where to wire to defrost.
