Sure you can buy it somewhere else, but I bet those places dont give: instructions on how to install, wire harness adaptor, antenna adaptor, and the mounting brackets. All in the price. Not to mention their amazing tech support.
x2, I've never shopped anywhere else (except for Best Buy, but only when I had the discount)

And also... NEVER trust eBay with car audio. Most of the car audio is the stuff that was rejected by the manufacturer. I count eBay as a last resort...

After those things, you would have spent more than the 20 you saved.

You are not going to save 100 or even 50 on a sub 200 dollar headunit.

And yes they give the mounting bracket.

Check out the crutchfield outlet. Its the older models but they are cheaper prices and come with all the same crutchfield stuff as if you were to buy a new one. The warrenty/return policy on them is good too.

Just don't let them install it... Retail stores are hit or miss most of the time....

just have them install it, theres not THAT much they can mess up that you couldnt easily remedy. and install really isnt hard at all if you feel like you wanna tackle it yourself. and as long as you can soder, youre good to go

You don't even need to solder. In fact, I never had. I just stock up on these:

Just use a wire stripper to crimp them.

DO not CRIMP solder and heat shrink....

Crimping isn't the way to do it think Heat shrink Plus there is glue in the heatshrink that gives you added protection.

I always Solder heat shrink tape.
