CD Changer Input.... - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Default CD Changer Input....

I just bought the iPod2Car adapter for my ipod and they also supplied the harness that is necessary to hook it up to the CD Changer Port located in the trunk. I located what i THINK is this port. I removed the black plastic cover from behind the seats. On the righthand side, there'* a silver box screwed to the seat. On it is an available port, but the cable they supplied won't fit. Am I at the right place, or is there another spot where i should be plugging this in? If you could post a picture of where i should plug it in, that'd be awesome! thanks much!

If the silver box looks like the one In this picture then that is for your Onstar system.
