Default Cassette eject mechanism inoperative, 97 lesabre

The eject mechanism is broken or otherwise not working. I prefer the stock radio so I don't want to change it out.

Is it worth it for me to open it up and repair or replace the mechanism? We really don't use the cassette much anyway, but it would be nice to have it fixed. Perha'* OLBlueEyesBonne'* or his brother knows something about it?

If you dont use it then just let it be however if you listen to cassette tapes go ahead and take it out and repair it its probably just something minor that can be fixed with tweezers and maybe a little part from online or a shop near you. Only work on it though if your going to use it because if you work on it and something goes wrong then you'll be stuck without a radio so be careful and think about it carefully unless you know what your doing of course.
