Don't hold your breath... I'm starting the small parts now that I can afford but most of this system won't be hooked up til the spring when I enter the real world of working and out of the poverty of college. But once I have some really money and the warm weather comes around (which is around May for boston) I'll drop this in my car.

I'm not sure if i'm going to stick with the AM/FM/CASS I have right now and use a FM Moduator or If I want to upgrade to a CD player with RCA inputs in the back (is there one made that will fit the Bonnie?).

check this sight out, it is esspecally made for a car, runs on 12v, and has varoius programs and wireing that allow it to operate with an autobile electrical system. THis system paird up with the touch screen they sell with it would make the best system, IT EVEN SNIFFS out WI-Fi signals, (good for us urban people, kinda worthless for the rural dwellers) check it out, its kinda priecy but perfectly tailored to your automotive experiance!!.......if i get a spare 2000 ill get the whole shabang and post all this pics here

That is a nice unit, and is basicly what I plan on building for the CPU, but I'm the guy that builds his computers, not buy them from D(uh)ell. There'* no fun in clicking Buy Now if you can Build Now!

i love you ide with a small touch pad and bluetooth keyboard, better than a touch screen and onscreen key board............

Default Car PC type Things

A friend of mine has put a pc in his Lexus GS400. I'll probably try to put the same kind of setup in my bonne after xmas. He has a 7" touchscreen lcd and has hidden his cpu in a gutted directv box. He has the wireless ability, 40 gig drive, 1 gig, 512 cpu. Total cost after install was around 600$. Pretty much all thats left is a bit of bondo work but our bonnevilles big radios are about the same size as the 7" lcd so it might take as MUCH work. Haven't measured it yet...there is always this option. Friend of mine with GTP sent me this morning. I'm sure this could be ran through the same 7" lcd

The start of the install in his GTP.
