I meant larger boxes give you deeper bass, it was a typo. Smaller boxes can give you more output but its only to a certain degree, if you go too small, you will go out of the sub'* freaqency range and actually lose output. a Q of .707 is ideal for most people because it is a good tradeoff between output and response curve, but some people who want more bass or have different preferences might go with something higher. i usually go with somehthing around .8 or .9, maybe even 1.0.
