I'll have a pic of it installed next week when it'* in. I put the exact same one in my friends 91 firebird last year, and it matches the lights perfectly, it plays MP3 CDs too. This is a very powerful deck and anyone looking for a nice matching deck i would higly recommend this. It also should work with this steering wheel adapter..

The good thing about the clarion is its multi colour option for different custom interior colour schemes with neon!

The bad thing about the clarion is the price!!!! Some of us are poor college kids, thats why i picked up the rockford deck. It'* not in every other car, and i know it'* good, and i got it for almost 1/2 price..

Actually clarion has many lower priced model'* i just happened to want the one that was a little more expensive :o .The cheapest clarion deck with multicoloured display goes for 249-299 that not that bad considering your getting a very good product.Im not familiar with RF decks ,never had one,and dont know anybody who has ?

A friend of mine has an RF deck in his Golf GTI, he loves it....it sounds great too, no problems at all

Yeah i thought the speaker outputs of this rockford deck was a lot better then the output on my pioneer i had in my last car. In my friends firebird it just ROCKS. I love the EQ in the pioneers, but every speaker i've heard with this RF deck sounded good and didn't need it. I'll agree with clarion, pioneer, RF, alpine, some panasonic decks, and some sony. Those are probably the best IMHO, and clarions preout only deck is pretty sweet!

Well if i feel like fixing my steering wheel buttons then i'l probably get that adapter for them to use the IR for a controller the deck has. If anyone else wants more info on the deck or any suggestions for any other kind of deck/requirements go for it!

I wasn't planning on selling it but i didn't think of that yet either. Any reason for it? It'* the 5 Band EQ/Tape deck, with a **** for volume and turning, i can take a pic for you if you want. The tape side doesnt sound very great with the adapter i bought, but i'll include that too incase you want to use a CD player. As far as i can tell everything on it works, and it'* in mint condition, i don't know about the heads though. You have first dibs on it if you want it JR. But it'* not free.
