Just need some quick info. My 2002 SSEi has a Monsoon system and the rear deck speakers are cooked. This is a real new bee question, but will other non Monsoon speakers work with the Monsoon system? The wire connectors on Monsoon speakers look pretty specific. When I had my 2000 SSEi with a Bose System I seem to remember some note about the need to be Bose specific with speaker replacement.

Also is there a link handy on the tools/procedure to remove the stock speakers from the rear deck?

Other monsoon speakers should work just fine. Just make sure that they are the same impedance. Sorry for the slow response, I will be checking up on this thread again later tonight and then tomorrow morning. Let me know if I can do anything else to help
