Well thats somre pretty damned fine fabricating. You can really tell how good someone is by the details, and u pretty much nailed it there. Now all u have to do is finish off the system with some fiberglass in the trunk and some good kick panels or a door pod, and ull have it all

Hmmm...think maybe you could make a reverse-mold of the new piece so you can "mass-produce" these :?:

It'* possible but not with the resources I have here. It really should be made via plastic injection molding rather than fiberglass though.

But why buy it when you can make it

Default Incredible!

Fantastic Work!!

Can I ask specifically what releasing agent you use...

Is it a paste carnuba or solid that you have to melt?

Something simpler like liquid McGuirs carnuba wax?

Awesome job....

Thanks.

The wax is Mothers 100% carnuba wax in a solid form. It dosen't need to be melted as the friction from an application cloth does this well. It can be seen at the top of this pic:

I've learned that "butchers wax" or bowling alley wax will work just as well but have never used these products. Poly Vinyl Alchohol (PVA) is supposed to be the best for a fiberglass release agent but I don't know where to find it.

Looking good there, nice fibo work, got me thinking about making my own kick panels again, can't forget about some a-pillers either. going to get some of that textured paint for the pillars.

Anyways, impressive work, too bad you don't really like the picture on it. but now you can pick up any double din unit and should fit and look great.
