i've read up on the cardomain forum how-to but am unsure about the alternator to battery wire upgrade. it seems a bit more risky. Would it be beneficial to ground the negative top post on my battery to the chassis with some 4 guage and still leave the stock one on as well? i think it would be pretty simple as i would only need to buy another top post adapter and some 4 guage wire/ring terminals.
My only doubts about doing this is, if i beef up that circuit then the alternator to battery is still going to be the weak link.

What are the lengths for this? I want to do it but i don't know the #'*. I'd like 4 ga minimum, maybe 2..
I'd suggest one ground if possible. You don't wanna introduce ground loops if you don't have to, especially if you have any aftermarket audio gear .

according to that guy it'* cool because the current will naturally take the path of least resistance. WOW this guy used 1/0 wire.
