Default Big 3- Bonneville GXP

Anybody done the "Big 3" upgrade on a Bonneville GXP? Specifically, upgrading the wiring from alternator back to the battery? I already have good cabling from battery to amp, and battery to ground. I was wondering what is the best way to get to the alternator before I start pulling off hoses, etc looking for it.

Headlights dim pretty badly right now when the bass hits.

I'm going to be doing this very soon too, so if you get to it before I do, please let me know how you went and how you did it.
