best way to run 4G power cable?

battery it would put to much stress on the alternator(stock)
I'm not all too car savvy, so pardon my dumb questions...
By connecting it to the battery, would it not draw it'* power direct from the battery rather than the engine? Would it then not drain your battery?
Or does the battery work in tandem with the alternator? Thanks guys! This forum ROCKS!

The battery will hold the charge...as the alternator will keep flowin the juice to keep it up...
The stereo will run much better off the stored power at the battery..
If you rob the power directly at the alternator..it will have a harder time charging your battery
and chances are you will overheat and smoke it up.
But that is not the case in all applications...as you will see deep cycle marine style batteries
in the trunks of some cars, there wired in line with your main battery....takes some of the load off...
My last car...I would **** thru and alternator a year...100amp...thank god for liftetime Autozone warranties!
