Default Anyone ever used an Ignited Performance Engine Start Button?

Before I ever owned the car (the 97), the owner had lost the cig lighters.
I believe one of the pervious owners smoked a lot, and the cig lighters honestly don't work too well... if you have something plugged in, and you move it a bit, it will cut out.

So I'm trying to think of some ideas that I can use the front one on the dash for.
I was thinking about something like this...
http://www.ignitedperformance.com/u_...intCatalogID=2

I was wondering if anyone had ever used/installed one of these.
I had a few questions....

First... would it mess with my remote started?
Second... do you think it would fit in the dash cig lighter in my 97?

Thanks

i used to have an aircraft style toggle switch with a red safety cover as an ignition on my 92 oldsmobile... i couldn't tell you if this would fit on your car, i'm guessing it would, it says it fits in stock cigarette lighter holes, these things look really cool, i might consider getting one. as for messing with the remote start, i would think it wouldn't mess with it if you hooked it up properly, you're running all separate wires from the remote start, so i don't see why it would interfere.

you do know this has been incorporated into your steering column. old cars had push button starts...they got rid of it as an improvement. the only cars that i can think of that come with push button starts now are cars like the *-class and it only has that because there is no key to turn....

good luck it'* a simple job.

edit:holy **** 30 bucks! rip off. goto radio crap and buy your own.
