Default any way to use steering wheel controls with an alpine?

ive always wanted to use my wheel contorls with the alpine and i saw someone mentiont hat you can use it with a pioneer with an adapter can this work for the alpine?

yea you can the SWi-X adapter. It is good for almost any make of headunit

good for any headunit IF....it has a remote control for it because what a swix does is memorizes the infared signal from your remote control and then shoots it to the headunit when you push your steering wheel buttons.

Anybody here have a SWI-X, and how good does it work? If you have one could you perhaps post some pics, and a walk-through on how to set it up? I'd appreciate it.

the model number is SWI-X

i plan on getting one with next paycheck

i have heard they are NOT easy to hook up, and this was from a professional car audio installer, but i wanna try it.

i know someone here has one...jwikoff?
