any way to use steering wheel controls with an alpine? - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

good for any headunit IF....it has a remote control for it because what a swix does is memorizes the infared signal from your remote control and then shoots it to the headunit when you push your steering wheel buttons.

Anybody here have a SWI-X, and how good does it work? If you have one could you perhaps post some pics, and a walk-through on how to set it up? I'd appreciate it.
