Antenna connection question.
when i installed my aftermarket stereo i had to get an antenna adapter cord that changed the stock connection from the smaller to larger connector. Well yesturday i had to remove the new stereo to take it in because its giving me error codes...anyways, i installed my factory stereo for now. the problem is when i went to unhook the adapter from the stock antenna wire, the male connection on the stock antenna wire ripped out, i figured all i would have to do it get the stock male end out of the female connector, i tried with plyers for 1/2 hour it aint comming out. Can i go and buy a stock connector from somewere? and is there a specific name for it?
THANKS

Or else you could go out to the slavage yard and pick up another wire from a junkyard Bonneville. Reason I say this is because the antenna wire that connects to the radio is only like to feet long and connects to the long antenna wire right under the middle of the glove compartment.
Take off the black bottom cover for the dash (goes between feet and dash) and you will see what I am talking about.
Really easy and that wire should only cost you about $1-3 from a salvage yard, possibly free.
If you want I have the one still in my parts car. If you want it you can have it for the cost of shipping. About $3.50 for priority shipping through the P.O.
Let me know if you want it.
Good luck.

Doesn't necessarilly have to be a Bonneville. Park Avenue, Lesabre, 98, 88, and who know'* what all other GM cars got these same antenna wires.
And yes, the antenna wire can be changed in under 5 minutes (the black panel takes most of the time just taking it off and putting it on -though you should only have to take the two screws out so the part closest to the seat hangs down).
Let me know if you can't get one in a yard and I'll pm you my shipping address unless you do Paypal and then you can just send it that way to:
realmc @ meltel. com -take the spaces out and thats my Paypal account.
