Default Angel Eyes, requesting help

This could sound dumb...im not electrically inclined but i feel i can figure this out eventually, maybe...

ok, i just got Hella Angel Eyes:

im trying to figure out how to do this...from what i can tell the wiring digram is only for the LED ring, i can figure that out later...the main question though is for the fogs them self, did i need to get an adapter, or redo the plug, like would it be safe to bend or from the plug on the fog light to fit in the stock outlet on the car. I think i can make it fit but i dont know if thats the way to go with this...

Cut your factory plug off. Splice directly to the factory wires.

They come with their own wiring harness, and that harness has leads for both the LED ring, AND the main light. Use that, don't cut up your existing factory harness, and terminals.

i only agree with half of the statement

use the lights harness for the LEDS only

use the existing car harness for the driving lights

Well i didn't see any responses until after i did it, but i decided i am not cutting any wire on the car, so i went out to radio shack and found some wire connectors that will fit the plug, and i spliced the wires to the fog light then connected to the factory connectors. I didn't have time to do the LED ring yet, that will be next weekend, cuz today is a 'school day' as in its devoted to school/college work.

These Angel Eyes are AWESOME, its like i dont even need headlights anymore! OMG I love these. Except while I was driving last night a couple people flashed me with their high beams so i'm aimed too high, i did aim them but i didn't realize our drive way is just slightly slanted, so i'll have to do that again. I was flashed once on my way to a friends birthday party, and then we left to go somewhere else and i asked my friend to pay attention to my lights, he said it was like having the highbeams on the whole time, and i did switch to my highs a few times...and then i was flashed two more times on the way home, then i decided im not gona blind anyone else... and turned them off

As mentioned above, aiming is very important with these, they produce a very round light pattern. Many other driving/fog lights bend the light towards the bottom, where these do not. It'* better for ups and downs IMO, and lights up further down the road, but it'll definetly light up more then you want in traffic.

They worked well for me at the time, and made driving at night VERY enjoyable and safe, but they have deteriorated on my car and are being replaced. The LED ring, you'll probably live without...

I didn't want to hack up the OE harness because the hookups on mine were just simple wiring connections. Now I still have good factory wiring without any patchwork that'll plug right into my new projectors. I also felt the harness that came with mine had better wiring for the higher powered bulbs.

FYI, the factory wiring will support 100W H3'*. Mine'* been that way for almost two years.

A PAIR of 100w H3'*.

that makes sense, ugh, so should i aim them a little lower than what the FSM says, since the OE bent the light down, and the Angels dont?

and yeah, i didn't want to cut the factory wiring if i can just as easily hack up the after market, i mainly wanted to be able to go back to OE if i wanted/had to

as for the LEDs, has there been problems with them? like i have read where some of the guys who got them didn't bother hooking 'em up, is there a reason? I think im still gonna get 'em wired up next weekend i wana see it on the car, my plan is to wire it to the button on the side of the shifter, and since you cant really tell weather its on or off im gonna put an red LED in probably down near my right shin or knee where only i would see it to know if i have it on or off, and if i ever decide to dump some cash on Neons thats where i wire the on/off
