is 300 watts the max or the rms for the amp? i have 2 12" kicker L5'* in a 5 cubic foot ported box. they are rated at 600 watts rms a piece and i have an 800 watt max pioneer amp hooked up to one and a 500 watt max bazooka amp hooked up to the other one and it makes it hard to breathe sumtimes.

wow those are week stereos no offence but i have 4 10 l7s and 2 sx 1250 amps
