yeah that is pretty much the easiest way to go unless you build some sort of amp rack

That is very very slick... I wish I had the time and the resources to do something like that... but for my first system I like what I got. Next car I get I want to do a little something more extravagent(sp?) and custom...

you have to be careful to what amps you mount upsidedown because some are not designed to disapate heat upsidedown

You are 100% correct on that!
Only reason its there is I don't have any other place to mount that behemoth!! LOL
I also bought the matching 4 channel...and don't know where to put it! lol

If i run into thermal protect too much..I will be moving it off the trunk. (Not happended yet)
But for now...that is where she sits!

On windy days...I send my wife into the trunk for the groceries! hehe
Just kiddin'.....not kiddin' on the thing weighing a metric TON tho!

How did you mount the amp that way? Obviously I would be worried about velcro or glue ( permanent ) and with all the crappy pothole 401 hwy we have.. I would be worried about knockin it off.. unless you screwed it into trunk ( not the area with a single skin )

Quick Reply: Amp??
