Their decks are good....I don't know much about their components though....I think the best components I've heard was boston accoustics.

If you want afordable check out Adire Shiva's....
i know alot of people just wanting a little kick are happy with the IMPP's... if your not doing this to impress people then it should be all personal pref.

You probably already dropped the cash, but you know how the $.02 game goes...

Best advice here. Simply put, companies make different levels of equipment for different levels of user. Most brands do. Example: The fact that a Lexus SC430 is a seriously sweet car (my mother just bought one) does not necessarily make the Scion tC a complete joke - both have the Toyota name behind them. But there is a $45,000 price differential. It's the same with audio equipment.
Seriously though, two subs for $100 is hard to beat, it's an Alpine product, and you get customer service through Crutchfield. Focus some energy on putting those Type-E's in a proper enclosure, feed them right, and they will do you well for everyday music. There is nothing wrong with the Pioneer either but if it were my car I'd choose Alpine. Of course, that's my personal preference because I've owned Alpine and I liked it very much. If you liked your Pioneers, what's to stop you from a repeat purchase? Good luck... let us know how it turns out for ya!
