hey wassup i had bought a new indash dvd player/tv for my 92 bonney and everything is hooked up...except the wire to the parking brake signal lead. could somebody please tell me where the parking brake signal lead is????

usually you just need to ground that wire to make the DVD screen work.....yes its illegal, just dont drive down the street with a movie playing

i grounded the wire but still no video ...u think mayube i hooked up the foot brake wire to the wrong thing now? i had hooked it up to the lightblue wire right above the brake pedal

No you can not just ground that wire. In alpine units there is a sequence that has to be preformed each and every time you start the vehicle to get video. I'm assuming you have the foot brake lead hooked up yes? The parking brake should only have one wire coming off of it, just tap into that. Look up under the dash by the pedal and you'll see it. Either that or search ebay for "alpine video bypass" and you can find products taht will bypass it for you. But i repeat you can NOT just ground the wires.
