Default Aftermarket eBay HUD...yes or no?

I'm fairly sure I"m putting this in the right section...if not, move me!

I'm wondering if anyone out there has put an aftermarket HUD in their car, something like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUTO-...ayphotohosting

I've read a lot of threads and can't seem to find anything specific to this, I just basically want to know if it'* going to be worth my $100.

I'd love to put a stock HUD in, but that'* way too much for me to take on...I don't get along too well with wires and such

Any input is appreciated!!

I've not seen anyone here that'* used that plug-in unit, just a couple that have taken a stock one from JY and installed it themselves. From what you say, that'* out for you.

Ok, maybe I'll take my chances on it and see what she does...I'll keep this post updated if I do...I have a week til payday though, so It'll at least be that long!

As far as the Full Dash w/HUD, that'* a phenomenal deal, Bandit! I'm just not EVER up for slicing and dicing wires. If mine'* pre-wired, that'* another story...but I don't think 97 SE'* are wired are they?

There is like 7 or 8 wires to do, its Very easy to do.

Hardest part is taking the dash in and out but even thats easy on these cars

Now THAT'* what I'm talkin' about!!

CJ, we're going to get you modding and you'll never turn back. Remember that wiring, like most anything else, gets less intimidating and easier the more you do it. The hardest part is (almost always) getting started doing something you've not done before.

ALL THOSE WIRES?! Haha...

I love modding, honestly, thanks for the pics Bandit, and the encouragement, Lash...I just don't know if I'm ready to tear apart Bonnie! Also, not to mention, I don't have a garage (booo)

I still do what I can though....maybe that'll be a 'next year' project...
