I don't recognize the brand by looking at it. I used to be self employed selling & installing remote starters, alarms, audio and video. I've had oppertunities to work with many different manufacturers such as Accele and Micro Alarm allong with the major brands like Code Alarm, DEI and Audiovox. In my experience I've always perferred the major brands when it comes to remote starters for their reliability. The item you have your eye on has a great price for all that it offers though. Typically the two-way systems cost $169+ to the dealers and roughly $499 installed.

If you can find a major brand for only a few bucks more, I'd suggest that. Personally I would hold off on this one unless someone else has had good results.

Let us know of your decision. If it works out then I think others would be very interested because it is so affordable.

ive heard of that brand... thats a "swap meet" level alarm... dont waste your money.....

I agree. Getting tech support on that thing after the sale may be a nightmare, and the whole presentation looks totally amateurish, like it'* some reseller twit just trying to get as much profit as possible. The serif lettering on that little keyring remote looks an awful lot like one of those Chinese knockoff products you find in dollar stores and similar.

If you're looking to _upgrade_ your security system I'm not sure that this would be the best choice; its sole claim to fame right now is its price (e.g. there'* no independent product reviews you can consult on this thing), and the "great" price gets weaker as more bidding drives the price up.
