aftermarker upgrade question - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Default aftermarker upgrade question

I was thinking about getting a double din dvd/nav player. I already have an aftermarket radio installed and it was installed by circuit city. I would rather not take it to them, what am i facing if i try to install one myself? I realize that buying a kit would be needed, but anything else Im overlooking?

You should PM DDAlder, he did something very similar to what you are trying to.
