Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

wow.. you're going to have a hell of a time keeping that back door panel on again. Looks like you ripped all of the mounting tabs out of the "cardboard" door panel.

Basically, b/c that wouldn't let me use my stock door panel anymore. Also, 120Hz down? Who'* gonna notice... I would make the effort if I was running them upwards of 250Hz... then it would be worth it.

if hes going to low pass the 8'* at 120Hz, thats not nessary. frequencies that low arent directional

above 200Hz is where it matters to start pointing drivers towards ears

Um because an 8" would put out deeper and cleaner mid bass and lower tones than a 6" ever could lol...

Also, don't worry about aiming the subs in any particular direction. Just make sure you tighten everything up in the doors and door panels, maybe get some type of spray on adhesive so that everything is sealed nice and tightly with no more rattling.

Excellent idea by the way, i almost attempted this before i bought my infinity kappa perfect 10.1'*

Bass up front is the best way to go when you want SQ, and Jeep does an excellent job at this by putting Infinity 6x9'* in their front doors. That is going to be my next project if i don't sell my car which i am most probably doing.
