ok so im suppose to have factory 6x9 in the rear well i bought a set of aftermarkets and it seems that the oval in that plastic riser is to small?? they dont fit.

if the aftermarkets dont fit....you need to lightly trim the plastic insert to make the speaker fit.

alot of the aftermarket speakers have a different design than the factory

o.k. ill do that, i thought they might have been for a different size speaker, the book said they were 6x9'* so i was a bit confused they didnt fit.

You have to MAKE them fit. Yes, a little trimming is required.

I had to dremel mine as well to get the 6x9'* in there. You got the right size.

Me too. My aftermakets were a bit tight. I didn't have any tools for trimming during the install, so I brute-forced them in there...
