2013 Enclave alpine 455u amp - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Default 2013 Enclave alpine 455u amp

Trying to install alpine 455u power pack on non Bose head unit with Polk speakers. Bestbuy put in but chimes, turn signals and phone prompts too loud looking for solution. Bestbuy installers solution was to route r front sound to both front speakers and leave the left front out unamplified to separate speaker I'm not particularly happy with this solution. Looking for alternatives

the only thing i can think of is put a different head unit in and dont use the chime type adapter, this is what i did, its very nice without all the racket. the hu is the worst part of the oem setup, and if i was only going to change one thing that would be it. on my dd monte i changed everything but all my other cars i changed just the HU and the results were amazing

best buy isnt the best place to buy stuff by the way. if you get the stuff from sonic electronics they give you all the stuff to install it
