2003 stock HU aux question
I've searched through the posts and it seems all the links people have posted regarding the aux input are 404'* now (after the big change, maybe?).
Anyway, my 2003 has a stock head unit and I notice it has an aux button. I'd like to hook it up to a Zune. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be an aux input, at least on the face.
Where'* the aux input? Do I have to pull out the HU and hard-wire it in the back or something?
Any help appreciated here.
Thanks!
Chris

i bought a product from a company named P.I.E for my durango that hooked into the back of the HU and gave me RCA inputs which i used to plug into. havent check to see if they have an adapter for the bonne yet but its worth a shot. sound quality was better than cd
the problem is that the 00+ Bonnevilles have a "Dock and Lock" system. GM only used this system in the 00+ Auroras, LeSabers, and the Bonneville. That is why there is almost no aftermarket support for us
adding a zune/ipod/anything that has a sauce is simple. you have to buy a box for around $200 from XXXXX(i forget there name it'* well known product just search). once you install it, it will allow you to play whatever you want through it including your zune. i feel stupid forgetting the name and who makes it but i know it'* outthere and is commonly used. however for the price imo you are better off installing an aftermarket sauce unit with a real aux input. better sq, aux, mp3 ability etc.
