Default Window Regulators

If anyone is interested, I just repaired my window regulators for my Drivers' side Front and Rear. I took lots of pictures every step of the way and would be happy to share them with anyone who'* willing to try to take this repair on.

The entire repair cost me about $8 in parts (new cable, ferrules, and a little grease). The tools needed are shown below...

It took me about 30 minutes to do the rebuild of the regulator assembly, and another 15 minutes to disassemble and reassemble each door. First timers should be able to do the job in 1 1/2 hours total - Each door.

The regulator is the entire assembly seen on my picture. The cable can easily go off the roller and get pinched or caught on something and jam itself up. Most of the time it goobers up the cable pretty bad and it needs to be replaced. If the cable is seized, try not to run the motor anymore...It won't free itself and you'll probably just burn out the motor!

The main drive roller (pulley) is grooved to keep the cable running true, and those grooves can get all goobered up as well.

I will post the entire procedure later tonight or tomorrow.
