Default Window regulator

My rear just went last night. What'* one of these things worth (in CDN) from the dealer ?

I see a couple of posts for fixes but wondering if they are worth it vs replacement cost?

From the dealer here in Canada its about $450 each. Try the fix or get a friend to try the fix for you.
Ebay is also an option.

Can handle some mechanical maintenance such as the window. I've already replaced a power motor in ther wife'* old sunfire and repaired her grand Prix window as well. Don't think I could rebuild an engine but other than that I have some medium level skill and aptitude for mechanical stuff. I'm gonna tackle the window myself (with some help from a fellow member here in Ontario who'* fixed his already).

Probably because they break after about 10 uses and everyone needs them.
