OK, so I had my window regulator break on me a few days ago. Got the new one in and installed it, but still having problems. For some reason, the window won't go back up correctly, it will also stop a few times on the way up (the motor will actually stop trying). It goes down just fine, the only problem is going up. I tried aligning it better, but the window seems to be aligned just fine. There'* plenty of grease in the needed spots, and the motor is new as well. I'm out of ideas on what to do...

It'* a 2000 Bonneville SLE, front drivers side regulator.

Check out this Techinfo article on your window regulators. There might be something in there that will be helpful
