Default Where is the oil filter sensor located

I want to find the oil filter so I can pull the oil pressure sensor to see if i can pull the oil sensor to see if the guage goes to 0...if not then i know it is the guage. can someone show me where in the engine the oil filter is located and the oil sendor unit and does it just unplug out or do I need to screw it out?

You can just pull the single wire connector going to the sensor in order to disconnect it from the system.

And is that under the car cause I dont have a jack. If I pull the wire and the guage goes to 0 then it is definately the oil sending module right? Where is this wire located?

Do you know where your oil filter is? Have you ever seen it? The wire you are looking for is right above the oil filter adapter.

Have to go with Dan, I know it is a bit hidden above the oil filter but not hard to find, if you don't feel confident in doing this take it to a professional

I thought mine was the gauge at first but after reading how common it was for this to happen I changed the sensor and everything was fine, While you are down there messing with the wire connector you could have changed the oil and filter, taken out the old sensor and put the new one in in the same amount of time with proper tools
