My guess would be tire cupping, especially if the sound came on after service work
out of balance or worn parts can cause the cupping and wear based on old alignment
once it was realigned, it will reposition the tire to ride where is is more noticable

If you have ever rotated you wheels recently, the rears could be cupped as well and is why you still feel it after rotating
Just a thought
