I was driving on I-95 doing about 55 and it seemed like the car wouldn't accelerate and my speed started getting lower and lower dispite me hitting the gas the engine was working by it felt like the tranny was doing nothing. So eventually I just pulled over and turn the car off after letting it sit for 10 min. I poped the hood to see what it could be everything looked intact. I then notice a puddle underneath the car I examine the fluis and its tranny fluid. What could have caused this to happen and is the tranny shot?

Your going to need to find where the leak is. Is it the cooling lines, is it a seal around the axle, is there a crack in the trans case? Once you find the location then we can better help figure out the problem.
