Hey im a girl so dont say nothing if this is dumb.... But there is a metal tube surrounding my sparkplug wire....right were it connects to the spark plug.. I tried pulling on my spark plug boot and it'* so hard.. Do i have to take of the metal tube somehow... I think it'* a metal heat shield please help..

Yes, it is a metal heat shield to protect the boot from the heat of the exhaust manifold. The boots can be tough to get off, especially if still original. Push the metal shield down toward the plug to give yourself a little more area to grab.

If you can get the boots off, the spark plugs shouldn't give you too much trouble. Some have removed the rear engine hoist bracket (the black metal bracket that holds the sight shield in the back) to give a bit more room to work. Slide your arm under the heater hoses, and above the power steering pump (watch for the clamps on the hoses....they'll tear up your forearm) to get to #2 & #4 from the passenger side. Use your left hand, and pass the wrench down with your right once your arm is in there. #6 is generally easier from the driver'* side. The front plugs are a breeze in comparison.

I have been trying to get the rear 3 boots off my car for about a month now.
I must be a weakling

Anyways, the front ones are pretty easy, but the rear three will give you a lot of grief.

The metal boot is a pain to remove. I had to twist and turn it as I pulled it off. The rear ones were very hard to remove, Just keep at it and they will come off.

When I replaced my plugs in June of this year, I broke two plug wire ends (typical for stock wires). If you're having this much trouble you might just want to buy a set of wires and change them out. I bought a set of Belden wires for $50 and change from NAPA.

Funny this is my plugs weren't stock and I was being careful with the wires until the first one broke.

haha I did it... Well my BF did.. But he changed all the plugs and wires and it looked like they were really stuck.. He said he was able to change all of them but he wasn't able to put one of the heat sheilds back on.. he said it was causeing a short some how so he took it off and it ran really good... He bought me AC DELCO plugs and wires.. They were expensive but he says they are good... true???

True..that is what came in your car originally (or the NGK plug equivalent).

I've found the wires at Advance/Parts American for mmm normal customer price of $55.
