What size socket for the nut that holds the hub on?

I purchased the 36mm described in the how to, but it is very loose. 2000 bonnie

Get a 6-sided 34mm, it will feel a little sloppy, but thats the one.

The GM specs for the torque is 118 ft. lbs.

its was a 2001 SLE..... come on. Han still hasnt changed that in the car of the month section.

Make sure you get a quality hub. Unbelievably I've been through three replacements in 1 year due to me purchasing a crap hub off the internet. 2 mechanical failures and 1 electrical failure. You do get what you pay for in hubs. I learned the real hard way. If anyone wants to know what on-line company I dealt with, please send me a private message.

Got the new hub on last night. Need to take it out on a test drive to make sure that was the noise I heard.
