stock is 195
160 would be o...k... but not ideal for a cold winter (car wont really get warm)

Yes, stock is 195 and you should switch to a 180 but if you go with a 160 like I am running, you will need to reprogram your computer or use a ZZP E-Stat to trick it into thinking it'* a 195 stat. The combination of the trick and the reprogram will keep the cooling fans running for even cooler temps that your SC will love.

thanx i'll have to keep that in mind for the cold winters, but reprogramming the computer wouldn't be to much trouble for me. i wouldn't mind programming the computer for the colder season and for the warmer season.
so where can i find a good 160 stat and the program for the computer?
how hard is it to program the computer?

I got my 180 from here:

It'* under the Grand Prix section, but it'* the same.

Don't know about a program for the 160 though.

Also you may want to drill a small 1/16 inch hole in the thermostat to keep a constant flow of coolant in the engine. Where about in Indianapolis are you? I'm on the south side of Indy.
