water pump finally let go
I know it was coming for a while, but my water pump finally let go yesterday on the way home. It'* leaking antifreeze all over the place and I can take the pulley and move it side to side A LOT. Any one ever replaced one of these on a 2000 SSEi? It doesn't look all the difficult, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

5. Remove water pump pulley
6. Remove water pump mounting bolts (8 bolts)
7. Remove the water pump
8. Clean the gasket mating surfaces.

Straight from the Service Manual:
Looking at the diagram, there are 8 bolts.
The short bolts at the 11, 12, 1, and 5 o'clock positions are torqued to 11 lb ft.
The long bolts at the 9 (2), 3, and 4 o'clock positions are torqued to 22 lb ft.
The water pump pulley bolts are torqued to 115 lb in.

Thanks for all the help. Water pump wasn't all that bad of a job, took about 1.5 hours start to finish. Also did the rotors and pads today too.
