Talked to one of my buddies in my CNC class tonight (who just happens to be GM ASE Cert. Tech.), he really really thinks wheel bearings more than the CV Joint.
Knowing his knowledge and experience with cars, i'm gonna go that route. Plus, it'* a much much much easier thing to replace anyhow

Wow, so I defiantely haven't had time to do this yet.
Tonight I checked it out more. I had a carload full of people, so the vibration was lots more noticeable with the extra weight.
With the car jack up and the car in neutral, I spun the wheel. No unusua noises.
Swapped an extra wheel and tire on, just to make sure it'* not a bad on or the other, vibration still there.
Still no grease, no tears, nothing.
I'm really leaning towards the CV Joint/ Halfshaft assembly anymore. I forgot to do the lock to lock turn and listen for any clicks or check for binding, but hell, I can do that in the dark. I may try that out here in a few minutes.
I would normally place me not doing this yet on procrastination, but I've really just been that tight on time
. And... the next few weekends are just as busy as well. Gahh!

Look at it this way.. most likely it'* the bearing like your buddy mentioned.
If so.. it will let you know if you try and push too far by making evil noises that will ensure you make time. Meanwhile..I've seen people drive quite a lot of miles and years..yes years on bearings that were starting to fail.. (years is not typical.. but there is usually time)

Yeah, it'* not the fact that i'm a freak about proper maintenance, it'* the annoying factor that I can't accelerate while turning right.
And the slight vibration that I get while on the highway while the road is turning to the right with the cruise control set, thats really annoying.

Say it was the Half Shaft/CV Joint, would I follow this as the replacement guide:
Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement
BTW, I would probably be purchasing either from NAPA, AutoZone, or Murray'* Autoparts. Any recommended PN'* from either of those places?

Chris..You linked a steering column replacement. That would not work for the axle replacement.
Go to Napa and if you have one..use your AAA card. They give great discounts for AAA. Don't buy the Autozone one unless you are looking to see it fail quickly.. their parts have gone down hill in the last few years.

Wierd... it was the axle shaft replacement, not sure what happened(I moderate the w-body.com board, I might have accidently been using the wrong link
).
Anywho, got the link to the right one then? If I can print it off while I'm here at work, that'd be nice.
Never knew Napa took AAA, nice to know though.
While I'm at school, I mainly use Murray'*. It'* the most local one. Both Napa'* in town are very very unorganized. Back home, Napa is all I use though.
