transmission probem I think
This is my problem. It just started today with no prior problem.
Today I went to pass somebody and when i kicked it I got no slip at all,
but it surges quite bad if I really hit the throttle. It never did it before today
really surges bad under heavy throttle.
I let off a little it smooths back out driving nomal you wouldnt even know there was a problem. I checked the fluid it is full.
Any imput would be highly appreaited.
My ride is a ssei super charged if that helps.

Sounds more like ignition stutters more than Trans......
Fairly common on the Bonnevilles.....When was the last time you had the plugs and wires replaced?

No it does it every time i really push it down.
I have not changed the plugs or wires because it runs great. I still get 22mpg it hasnt gone down.
Runs smooth unless you kick it then I get this in and out of gear feeling badly, you really feel it and hear it.

While it is possible to be tranny related, most times the problem has been traced back to being an ignition problem. The plugs and wires can do fine when extra demand is not put on them. How many miles on the car? Have the plugs and wires ever been changed? I agree with Lakeville. If they have been done - that'* the place to start.
