Default Tranny is all back together!!

Finally got my car back from the tranny shop yesterday. It is amazing how much a person can miss their car when you don't drive it for a couple of week. Anyways, the car drives like a dream. I bought the Intense transaxle upgrade kit and had it installed wiht the tranny. WOW, does that make a difference. TCC-300 tourque converter, 3.29 gears,2nd gen limited slip and performance shift pack plus all of the other little goodies to go with it, Pull like a freight train. Alot of money to invest in a car but you know what they say, until death do us part, at least there was no prenuptial agreement involved.

Good to hear, how much was the total after rebuild and install?

Can hear the tranny whine a bit with the 3.29:1 gears?

Yep, im loving the TCC-300. Thought about gears, but I think I'll do the Gen V Intercooler first How did you spoof the gearing for the speedometer? SRC? reluctor wheel? PCM?

have not noticed any whine, maybe a very sllight whine at very low speeds but that is it.We won't go into how much install and parts cost, lets just say santa claus better leave alot of benjamins in my stocking. Spoofing the speedometr, i went with the reluctor wheel. I have done a bunch of driving around and i am just falling in love with this set up. I really need to invest in the intense pcm pretty quick.

You don't have a PCM yet? Forget those Benjamins under the tree, Santa needs to leave a PCM!

Whoa! You're right. I checked the INTENSE site and the cost of parts alone is about $4,000. and installation probably added another $1,000.
You must have been real good this year.
