Nope. Unless they changed something in 2000+, the Series II bolt on the tensioner pully for the supercharger is reverse threaded. Conterclockwise to tighten the bolt (and release tension) but clockwise to remove the bolt.

T50 Torx bolt too, and if it strips you cannot order just the bolt from GM. You have to pay 140 odd dollars for the whole tensioner assembly or find someone who has a spare laying around.

Which is why my dad converted to a 15MM reverse thread bolt from my GTP tensioner assembly last weekend when his tensioner pulley froze up on his 2002 Park Avenue Ultra. With the 15MM socket head you are less likely to strip it.

...So the GTP bolt fits and is reverse threaded, but the only difference is that it'* a 15mm instead of the dreaded torx? If so im definately going to have to either see if the dealer can get me that or go scour the junkyards. Either way is good because theres alot more GTP'* in the yards around here than SSEi'*, much less 00+

Yup, the bolt works, but I am fairly sure the SC belt tensioner is different between the H and W-bodies. I know the tensioner seperates from the bracket on the W-body, haven't gotten around to see if the the H-body SC tensioner is removable from the bracket.
