All four of my tires are at 35lbs. The problem is the DIC says to check the tire pressure. I don't know if it has to be reset on the DIC?

Hold in the tire pressure button until it starts blinking. 5-10seconds. Then, let go.

All done!

Hint: the button is located above the radio on the center of the dash.

The tire pressure monitor is very crude on our cars.
It simply works using the wheel speed sensors to sense when any one is rotating faster than the others then trips the warning. It will not reset until you manually reset it. It will also trip the warning display if the front underhood power supply at the fuse panel is disconnected.

My friend has a newer Jeep Grand Cherokee that actually has pressure transmitters built into the valve stems that sense pressure and then wirelessly transmit to the PCM. A much more expensive system.

Yes, it does have to be reset via the DIC. Press select until it displays "Tire Pressure" and it will likely read low. Hold the reset button down until it displays reset or normal. It seems to take forever before it finally does that.

That'* pretty much what I was trying to say, although Archon is much better with the "vocabulary."

Hey thanks alot. I was trying to press reset when it had the warning 'check tire pressure'. Had to cycle through until it said tire presure low then hold reset. Thanks for the help.
