Default time for a new suspension?

yeeaah, so i just rolled over the 150k mark and i'm wondering if its time for a new suspension. springs and shocks? keep the stock springs? can anyone recommend anything? I've never done this kind of work myself -- what equipment (and time) should i plan for?

replace with OEM? aftermarket? anyone? anyone?

with an SSEi, I you already have the performance suspension, i wouldnt bother with changing to aftermarket springs.

as for shocks and struts, they should probably be changed. But for a newer SSEi I really don't know the best brand to get, so I will let someone else chime in.

Are you having particular issues, or looking for something in particular? I'm asking because of the mention of replacing the springs, which is not generally a regular maintenance type item.

As for choices, I'd suggest the Monroe Sensatrack struts for the front, and the Monroe air shocks (you only have one choice with every brand I've seen) for the rear.

You should upgrade to the 2001+ Aurora suspension on your SSEi. The Aurora had FE3 (sport) suspension while the SSEi had GM'* FE2 (touring handling/ride) suspension. The ride is noticibly firmer, while still riding smooth! The struts should be interchangable as far as I know..
