Could you guys help a newb out? I've looked around at posts but i guess the best thing to do is just ask outright. I see quite a few of you have modified or acquired new/different PCMs. The question(*) i have regarding them is simple: Why do you do it, what does it do for the car and how do you get them done/where is a good place to get them?
your not to far south of Danthurs he can program yours for ya he is in Sheboygan and can do it completely custom that is way better than a canned tune from ZZP, intense, ect
you do it to modify the way the car runs to coincide with mods done and make sure you don't kill your ride

If you don't want to mod the car very much then it'* not really worth it for you but if you change any fueling, anything to let a lot more air in, or other big things then you need to make changes to keep it safe

Oh i definitely wanna mod it. Already done a couple of minor things to her. But it seems to me that depending on the mod or how many is when you start playing with the PCM. Not something you start right out with.
