Default Theft Attempted??

I got out of work tonight and was walking to my car and unlocked the doors using the key Fob. as soon as I hit the unlock button on the fob the alarm started to go off and would not turn off until I unlocked the doors using the key. The alarm then turned off after using the key. The doors unlocked using the Fob, but the alarm went off. when I started the car, the message THEFT ATTEMPTED was flashing on the driver information center. Any ideas? There isn't any evidence of an attempted theft, or entry to the car. Everything appears to be fine and everything functions properly too.

sorry. that probably didn't make sense. I'm tired myself. lol.

The doors did unlock using the FOB, but I could not shut off the alarm using the FOB. I kept pressing unlock, but it only kept unlocking the doors, not disarming the alarm.

I had to turn the key in the door, to "unlock." that shut the alarm off.

Mine did the same thing once. I shut the alarm off by puting the key in the ignition, though...
