Default Taking over EX wifes 2000 ssei....PLEASE HELP!

It has been a while since I have been on the bonneville forum but I am back. My soon to be ex thinks the car has major problems and just wants to give it back to me! I took it into the shop to have them find out what is wrong. I know the fuel level sensor is bad. The shop told me that there was a problem with the EGR valve. I replaced the LIM gasket a few years ago and had to put a new pipe (?) on because the other one cracked. Could I have missed something there? The mechanic told me that the EGR valve could just be causing ALL the other problems. On top of the fuel level sensor, this could be my only real problem!! Could I be so lucky as to have to just replace that?! He also tested the coils and they checked out ok. The plugs and wires are all "new". Below is the printout from the computer. Thanks for the help!!!

Some of those codes pop up when you have a vac leak. So that would be the first place I would look. Also, pull the EGR valve and check it out. Sometimes the stick. If that'* the case it could be the cause of most if not all of those codes.

When I pull the egr valve, what am I looking for?? I pull it off of there and there are just two holes....I dont see where anything can 'stick'(??) Also, I looked for a vac leak yesterday. Spray some carb cleaner EVERYWHERE and could not find anything!

There should be a valve that moves. Make sure it'* not stuck. Did you spray cleaner around the EGR tube? This is a common hidden leak

Ok, so I took the EGR valve off and the 'needle' operates smoothly. Sprayed some carb cleaner in there anyway, no change. I think I messed with this part before and I think I may have messed with the screw that is on the bottom of the valve. You know, the one that you push on to make the needle move. I am assuming this was a bonehead move. Is that pre set from the factory? Is there a way to get it where it needs to be? I really dont want to drop 180 bones on a new one unless I absolutely HAVE to!! Thanks!
