How can one tell when a supercharger has gone bad?

Click on "Quick Links" above, go down to "User Control Panel" and then click on "Edit your Signature" It'* pretty straight forward from there.

Noise from the supercharger is a good inductor there is a problem. If it sounds like grinding, or it'* filled with rocks then it needs a rebuild. There are a few write ups in the tech info area explaining what you need to do. The most likely problem will be the coupler, here'* a write up on changing that. There is also some videos to help you determine if that is your problem.

Who do you recommend for a quality rebuilt Eaton Supercharger?

I'm rebuilding one right now, will be ported and polished. If it'* just a coupler you can do it yourself if your handy.
