Default summer time

during the summer when im driving i have the air on 60 if i use the ac and then shut it off but dont change the temp. i roll the windows down etc and i know that usually air comes through the vents even if its not on but if its on cold air wont the air at least be cooler? well in my car during the summer i always feel hot air blowing on my legs even if its not that hot out... could it be something not working right?

Sounds like something is not sealing off the heater core, I noticed that with mine on a few rare occasions but not blowing enough to notice

how do i check those? i know for a fact the heater core is new because i didnt even know what the heater core was and about 4 months after i bought my car into the winter months im thinkin i hit it with my foot but i broke something on it and it leaked antifreeze all over the floor so my dad replaced the heater core and the hoses that connect to it. but yeah durning the summer even my friends asked what the heat was or if the heater was on and i said no and that was with all the windows down and everything.

There'* a air mix door behind the glove box. You need to remove the glove box liner and you will see it.
