Default Strut tower brace

Has anybody ever thought about installing a strut tower brace on their 2000+? I've thought about it before on my car but it is a different width between the strut towers than the 99- generation of H-Body. The G-Bodies are wider, and the bolts are farther apart. Also, there'* the issue of clearance, I'm not sure if it'd even fit on there because of how low the hood is in relation to the strut towers.

The thought is that the fire wall is 'melded' into the towers giving them support over lets say the gtp? However angel brackets could be made and installed without much worry over clearence?

I really don't think that the 2000+ models need one.
The firewall connects almost dead centerline of the strut towers so an additional bar would be off center and redundant. IMO

maybe corner ones like the GTP would help. I'd look into it. I love having an STB its something only most tuned cars have....

Also a great thing to hold onto, or lay on while changing o2/wires/plugs....

There'* definitly clearance issues on the +00'*. One could be made but cant be standard bar like most STB'*. It would have to be CNC'ed to custom fit the hood.

What'* ankle brackets? Haven't heard that one before
