Stock Sway Bars are HOLLOW!
This weekend i finally managed to put the poly endlinks on my car. i have said before that i thought the stock bars were hollow. i have a saner heavy duty installed on the back now - someday i will get the front on. i was advised to do the front on a lift so i could drop the engine cradle to ease installation. otherwise it could be a "six-hour" job in the driveway - yuch!
Anyway, the stock rear sway bar is light as a feather and talking with the Grand Prix guys at the INTENSE shop they said that GP'* are hollow. They said the fronts are too. i guess i will be added a few more pounds to my already heavy boat.
the back end is nice and tight now though. i can really feel a difference in the corners.

I bought them second hand ...
before i found the used set i tried to contact Saner through email but never received a response.
Mark Fahey also has a set and he got them from Saner directly. Here is the information i have, but the web page doesn't seem to work.
Saner Performance Fabrication, 1449 Southwest Flounder Avenue, Port Lucie, Florida 34953, (561) 873-0238 www.sanerperffab.com {7/01}
i don't think they have gone out of business as there are alot of companies carrying their product so maybe the webpage has changed.
